Inside Moro: Marrakech’s Stylish Hideaway Where Design Meets Slow Living

Tucked beside Marrakech’s iconic Jardin Majorelle, Moro is a design lover’s dream—equal parts boutique, café, and hotel. Founded in 2020 by creative duo Mohcyn Bousfiha and Mouad Mohsine, Moro blends artisanal charm with modern Moroccan style. Visitors are drawn to hand-crocheted sun hats, silk kimonos, vintage fabrics—and ceramics glazed by Bousfiha himself. The boutique also offers jewelry, including gold and pearl bracelets. From its ivy-draped patios and curated décor to the café’s fresh strawberry juice and orange-blossom flan, every detail feels intentional. Upstairs, serene hotel suites, furnished with Berber carpets, offer an oasis above the city bustle. What began as a spontaneous project has become a beloved sanctuary for locals and globetrotters alike, where style, story, and slow living converge under the Moroccan sun.
