China has pledged over 500 scholarships and 20 annual exchange programs to Kenyan students as part of a landmark health partnership aimed at strengthening Kenya’s healthcare system. Announced by Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale following a meeting with Chinese officials, the initiative will enhance medical training and future leadership in the local health sector. The two nations are also exploring the creation of a Kenya–China Health Cooperation Taskforce to oversee projects. Furthermore, they are collaborating on the construction of new vaccine and pharmaceutical production hubs equipped with Chinese technology.
