Dangote Refinery to Refund Customers Over Fuel Price Discrepancies

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced plans to refund customers who purchased petrol above the advertised rates at its key partners, including Ardova Plc, Heyden, and MRS, across Nigeria. This comes after the refinery reduced its ex-depot price from N890 to N825 per litre, marking a N65 reduction in February. Marketers who bought fuel at the higher price before the cut will receive compensation. Dangote also warned against excessive profiteering, urging that any attempt to sell at inflated prices above N825 per litre would harm Nigerians and violate the spirit of the price reduction initiative.
